I changed my concentration theme to imprisonment shown through geometirc shapes. I am telling the story of going into the prison, being trapped in the prison, and then working towards freedom at the end. The principles that I used were, obviously, geometric shapes. As well as, leading lines, repitition, movement, and lighting to create mood.

These images have strong lighting, form, movement, texture and pattern. The pattern on the paper has a similar pattern to the wood grain creating unity across your images. The diagonal lines of the wood and the folds in the paper also mimic eachother and create movement. The fact that your images create movement while talking about a subject like flight which is about movement through air is a good synthesis of form and content. Keep going in this direction!
ReplyDeleteYou might want to try multiple planes filling up the page. I would avoid centering your objects. You might want to try hanging your planes to get them off the ground as well.
